Try something different this Halloween season and make your home a stylish haunted hangout!
Although somehow everyone has already started thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas, we have to make it to Halloween first! Many times Halloween decor can look tacky or out-of-place in your home unless you truly go all out for the holiday. These are some quick and easy tips on how to make your home look put-together and chic this year!
- TIP: Sometimes orange just doesn’t go with the preexisting color scheme in your homes, but making black and white your primary color palate this year amps up the glamour and really makes a statement.
- TIP: If your not big on decorating inside for Halloween but have trick-or-treaters and would like to make the porch inviting, try something like this simple display of bats. Its both polished and minimal but won’t rot on your porch for days after like a pumpkin.
- TIP: Make your fireplace a nice focal point where you can experiment and get a little cluttered, but make sure the rest of the decorations are toned down so this piece can really stand out.
- TIP: If you want to decorate but don’t want to go all the way, use little accents in interesting places (like the bathroom or hallway) to make a point without making it the only thing you see.
